Update: August 30, 2017

TACO Marine® is excited to announce its Project Boat Raffle Fundraiser for the I’M LOGAN IT Foundation is officially underway. Tickets for the raffle are available now through Nov. 5 – when the boat, valued at more than $150,000, will be given away to one lucky winner during the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

TACO Marine Project Boat, featured on Ship Shape TV, chronicles a two-year remodeling process of a 1989 Pursuit 2650 powerboat to 2017 standards using the latest, most advanced materials and products. Beginning Sept. 1, entrants can purchase one $40 raffle ticket, or three for $100, at IMLOGANIT.com or go.RallyUp.com/projectboat. The winning raffle ticket will be announced at 1 p.m. EST during the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show Nov. 5. The raffle drawing is slated for live-streaming on TACO Marine’s official Facebook page. Entrants can also purchase tickets in person at the TACO Marine Project Boat booth during the following boat shows:

  • Tampa Boat Show, Oct. 13-15 at the Tampa Convention Center in Tampa, Florida
  • Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, Nov. 1-5 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

We invite you to share information about the Project Boat Raffle Fundraiser on your Websites and social media, along with the hashtags #imloganit and #projectboat and various images provided, to help generate buzz for this exciting fundraiser.

1989 Pursuit 2650 Powerboat Raffle

Official Rules

I’M LOGAN IT Foundation, a fund of the Pinellas Community Foundation, Inc., a Section 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization (the “Foundation”), is conducting a single-prize chance drawing (“Raffle”) of a completely remodeled 1989 Pursuit 2650 Powerboat (the “Prize”) pursuant to Florida Statutes Section 849.0935 to raise funds to benefit the I’M LOGAN IT Foundation.  The Prize has been graciously donated by TACO Metals, Inc. (“Donor”).  The winning ticket will be drawn at random on or about Nov. 5, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. EST during the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, from all eligible raffle tickets received. In addition, the winner will be notified by phone. Ticket holders do not need to be present to win.  Detailed Official Rules follow.

ELIGIBILITY.  The Foundation has the right to request photo identification from any person desiring to enter the Raffle. The Raffle is void where prohibited by law, rule, or regulation. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Employees of the Foundation, the Donor, and members of their immediate family and residents of their household, are not eligible to enter. “Immediate family” includes only an employee’s spouse, parents, grandparents, children, and employee’s siblings living in the same household. A request for and receipt of a Ticket constitutes the entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these rules, terms and conditions, including all entry requirements.

No purchase or contribution is necessary to enter or to win the Raffle. To enter, an eligible entrant must request and receive from a designated representative of the Foundation an official raffle ticket (“Ticket”) for the Raffle.  Each Ticket will bear a unique identification number (“Ticket Number”) and those numbers shall be used to determine the winner of the Raffle. There are suggested minimum cash contributions to the Foundation in connection with the receipt of Tickets (with the total amount of all such contributions made in connection with the receipt of Tickets, as determined by the Foundation, in its sole discretion, being hereinafter referred to as the “Raffle Proceeds”). Tickets may be obtained upon request in-person or by mail, or upon automatic entry with a donation at www.IMLOGANIT.com.  There is a maximum of one (1) Ticket per eligible person if no donation is made by such person.  To request a Ticket by mail, either with or without a donation, submit a written request (request forms are provided at www.IMLOGANIT.com for convenience) along with a self-addressed stamped envelope to:  The I’M LOGANIT Foundation c/o TACO Metals, Attn:  Project Boat Raffle Fundraiser, 50 N.E. 179th Street, Miami, FL  33162.

DRAWING AND NOTIFICATION OF PRIZE WINNER.  The potential winner of the Raffle will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries actually received by the Foundation on or before November 4, 2017, with the drawing to be held at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show on November 5, 2017 at 1 p.m. EST. The holder (“Raffle Winner”) of the Ticket bearing the winning number will be contacted within five (5) business days following the drawing to present the winning Ticket to the Foundation within ten (10) business days following the drawing.  Entrants need not be present to win. The winning number for the Raffle shall be posted (“Website Posting”) at www.IMLOGANIT.com on the day immediately following the drawing and shall remain posted throughout the Claims Period (as that term is defined hereinafter) or can be obtained by calling 305-652-8566 during normal business hours. In order to be eligible to claim the Prize, the Raffle Winner must deliver the winning Ticket to a Foundation representative within the time period (the “Claims Period”) that ends at 5:00pm EST on the day that is ten (10) calendar days after the Raffle was held (provided, however, that if such tenth day falls on a Saturday or a Sunday, then the Claims Period shall be extended such that the Raffle Winner shall have until the Monday immediately following such tenth day to deliver the winning Ticket in order to be eligible to claim the Prize).  Any transportation required for the Raffle Winner to make delivery of the winning Ticket shall be the Raffle Winner’s sole responsibility and will not be furnished or paid for by the Foundation.  Upon presentation of the winning Ticket to the Foundation during the Claims Period and verification by the Foundation that it bears the winning number and is the authentic winning Ticket (with the date upon which the winning Ticket is presented to the Foundation being hereinafter referred to as the “Delivery Date”), the Ticket will be retained by the Foundation, the Raffle Winner shall provide his or her photo identification and one other form of identification as noted below, mailing address (“Mailing Address”) and telephone number, and the Foundation shall provide the Raffle Winner with written verification that he or she has won the Raffle. The Raffle Winner will be required to execute and deliver to the Foundation such documents as reasonably requested by the Foundation at the time the Raffle Winner delivers the winning Ticket to the Foundation.

The Foundation will award the Prize only upon verification of the Raffle Winner and the winning Ticket in the Foundation’s sole discretion. Decisions by the Foundation as to Raffle Winner eligibility and acceptance or disqualification will be final and binding. If the potential winner has not complied with these Official Rules, including the delivery of the winning Ticket, the provision of his or her photo identification and another acceptable form of identification, Mailing Address and telephone number, and the execution of the Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release and W-9 tax form during the Claims Period, the Prize will be forfeited and shall be retained by the Foundation.  In the event the potential winner does not accept the Prize, is disqualified for any reason, or fails to comply with these Official Rules, the Prize will be forfeited and shall be retained by the Foundation. Upon Prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given to the potential winner.  Failure of any potential winner to sign any requested document or failure of any potential winner to comply with any terms in these Official Rules may disqualify the winner in the Foundation’s sole discretion and the potential winner may forfeit the Prize.  If no one presents the winning Ticket to the Foundation prior to the end of the Claims Period in accordance with the procedures set forth above, the Prize will be forfeited and shall be retained by the Foundation. The Prize will not be awarded to any other person in this Raffle.  The Foundation will not be required to attempt to notify or locate the holder of the winning Ticket in any manner other than by making the Website Posting and mailing notice to the address on the winning Ticket. The Foundation also will not be responsible if the holder of the Winning Ticket does not receive the notification, check the Website Posting, call the Foundation Telephone Number, is otherwise unaware that he or she has the right to collect the Prize, or does not present the winning Ticket within the required time as set forth in these Official Rules. If the holder of the winning Ticket attempts to deliver the winning Ticket to the Foundation and collect the Prize at a later time or date, he or she will be notified that the Prize has been forfeited.

PRIZE RESTRICTIONS AND ODDS: The Prize is not transferable or assignable and cannot be substituted for another prize.
